News; Info Hit-APC’s Change is Actually an Islamic Religious Agenda, ex Gov. Babangida Aliyu

The Buhari-led administration has openly decided to wave the rise of change among Nigerian in fulfilment to his election promises. The current administration by all well-meaning  Nigerian has seen this first year of his administration as the toughest in Nigeria’s history.

The lingering economic crisis combined with persistent power outages have triggered angry responses from Nigerians who have questioned the Some Nigerians who could not express themselves straightly have relapsed to communicating their views in joking ways using these hash tags: #Bringbackourcorruption, #Isthisthechange?, etc. As Nigerians keep wondering what they have actually put themselves into by voting in APC government to power, a valid answer has emerged to at least put the suspicion of many Nigerians to rest. Going by the revelation from the former governor of Niger State, Dr. Muazu Babangida Aliyu, the expectations of Nigerians based on the promised CHANGE is a ruse.

Speaking in an Islamic conference recently, the former governor of Niger State claimed that he, together with Senate President Abubakar Bukola Saraki, the Kwara State governor Abdulfatar Ahmed, Abubakar Baraje and 3 others were the original proponents of the CHANGE mantra when they met in Mecca in 2014. It was in that meeting that they decided that a Muslim should be the president of Nigeria because Muslims are more than any other religion in the country, as well as in population.

However, upon return from Mecca, they met with President Goodluck Jonathan and prevailed on him to agree not to seek a second term but later yielded to pressure from his kinsmen and cohorts to contest the election which he lost.

Some of us think it’ll be wrong to tell Nigerians that the CHANGE Agenda was a religious agenda and not a change Nigerians desired and got through the ballot. By this, Aliyu has truly opened the eyes of so many Nigerians as regards the APC CHANGE MANTRA!
Speaking on the intrigues of his ongoing trial at the Code of Conduct Tribunal over asset declaration issues and the role of his party, the All Progressives Congress (APC), the President of the Senate, Dr. Bukola Saraki told Nigerian recently that his refusal to support a Muslim/Muslim ticket for the APC in the 2015 presidential election is largely responsible for his ordeal.
