News; Niger Delta Avengers give govs 72-hours to free held Biafrans

The Niger Delta Avengers has given a 72-hour warning to seven Governors in South-Eastern states to release all pro-Biafran activists detained in various military and police custody or be prepared for trouble.

Brig-Gen Mudoch Agbinibo, spokesman for the group in a statement named the governors as: Okezie Ikpeazu, (Abia state), Willie Obiano, (Anambra state), Henry Dickson, (Beyelsa State), Ifeanyi Okowa, (Delta State), Dave Umahi, (Ebonyi State), Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi (Enugu State) and Owelle Roachas Okorocha, (Imo State)

The statement reads: “We request the immediate release of all pro-Biafrans activists held in your various police/military Custody, you are hereby given 72 hours to release them or risk your convoys, police station, military base and government offices being attack”.

The spokesman further said that the public should note that  members of the militant group is not negotiating with anybody and nobody is representing it, even as he warned that in 48 hours, a video clip showing their arms and the targeted areas will be released


“All strike team already in position awaiting command”, he said.
