The Niger Delta Avengers resumed operation zero economy for the week as the group blasted NNPC pipelines. The Niger Delta Avengers continued their bombardment on all oil facilities within the Niger Delta sub-region. The attacks happened during the late hours of Sunday 24 July, 2016. The strike team of Avengers at about 11:30pm bombarded Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC), gas pipeline at Nsit-Ibom L.G.A, Akwa Ibom state, Nigeria.

The coordinated attack carried out by ND Avengers also suggested that the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation should check their pipeline if it's "system Anomaly". This is based on the report debunked by Exxon Mobile when the group had previously claimed it crushed their export pipeline.
