The Niger Delta Avengers continued their bombardment on all oil facilities within the Niger Delta sub-region. The attacks happened during the early hours of Thursday after it had previously carried out similar attacks. The strike team of Avengers bombarded Nembe 1, 2, 3 and Tebedaba brass trunk-line in Bayelsa/River States.

The coordinated attacks happened on the On 8 July 2016. In a report signed by its spokesperson, Brig. Gen Mudock Agbonibo the group warned the public about fake IDs on Facebook and Twitter. He went further to say that ND Avengers are no longer on any social media.

The Niger Delta Avengers who has been responsible for lots of bombardment on oil facilities within the Niger Delta sub-region has been demanding for the release of IPOB leader Mazi Nnamdi Kanu besides other conditions they presented to the President Buhari.
